Soapbox Racing is intended to be a bit of fun over the weekend, all you need is a team of 3 people.
As an incentive there are trophies and  cash prizes for the winners.

Rules
There are no real rules as such regarding the design of a soap box kart except that it needs to be a push kart with no drive mechanisms. Supermarket trolleys will not be accepted for entry.
Karts should ideally have some form of wheel  braking system to assist in stopping the kart  and the kart must have driver controlled steering.
The Kart should be a maximum of  8ft long and 3ft wide, larger Karts will be disqualified.  Karts can be as simple or  as complicated as you like
Helmets need to be worn at all times, although some may be available at the show if you have one please
How to Enter

All you need to do is complete the entry form below n (or download a full entry form from here)
Send us a couple of pictures and we will get them up on the web site.
 When you get to the show there will be a fenced off section to display your Kart before the race begins.
